Listening to: "The Woods" by Hollow Coves
This post will be on the shorter side as I'm mostly meaning to share some photos and a youtube video from my first hike of 2025! Based on a recommendation, I went to Punderson State Park with my son yesterday. We've had quite a bit of snow in northeast Ohio during the course of the last week, and I wanted to get outside and try to capture it! It was pretty chilly, but we had a nice time. For starters, go ahead and check out the YouTube video from our hike. The music is from one of my favorite video game soundtracks; I Am Setsuna.
I don't have a lot of practice with photographing snowy landscapes, but it was really fun to expiriment. I also recently acquired a "pocket dispo" lens, which is kind of neat and gimmicky. Basically, someone 3D printed a lens mount around an old disposable camera's lens. There isn't any autofocus, and it's stuck at f10, so it's best used outside. I'll include a photo or two from that lens below!
